Dodobeatz is not a classic village DJ story.
„Are we not all DJs these days?“
For Dodo, music was more than a hobby from an early age.
It was pure passion.
There was never a single clear career moment. Instead, his biggest influence was his father. He came from the small southern Italian village of Vallina and brought his love for music with him to Germany. He passed this enthusiasm on to Dodo, who began taking keyboard lessons at the age of seven and later piano lessons, performed on stage as a teenager and was even gifted his teacher’s own piano.
From the moment he first stepped into a recording studio and started experimenting with digital and analog hardware, he was completely hooked. Producing became an addiction and a language through which he expresses emotions and ideas.
From childhood on, he immersed himself in a wide range of genres including Pop, Melbourne Bounce, Tech House, Minimal, and Techno, sometimes melodic, sometimes hard, sometimes aggressive. Every phase and every sound was part of a learning process that shaped Dodobeatz into who he is today, a producer with an open ear for diversity and a strong sense of energy.

His journey began when he started for fun with DJing alongside his studies and won four DJ contests in a row. Dodobeatz tried everything, learned constantly and developed his own sound. In 2015 he entered his Minimal Techno phase and met Mausio. Together they founded Suicide Toast, and Dodo later became Mausio’s tourmanager.
Numerous gigs followed in Germany and Switzerland where he shook dance floors with driving Electro and Minimal Techno sets. While others defined themselves primarily as DJs, Dodo always knew that his heart belonged to production.

In 2021 he focused more on producing for others and the Dodobeatz project went into pause mode. At the same time, he established himself internationally as a ghost producer across various genres and for different artists.
After a longer break, Dodobeatz is now back and louder than ever. Together with Mausio, he is reviving the duo project Suicide Toast.
But there is also new solo music, he just took his passion for minimal techno & melbourne bounce in 130 bpm and speed it up. Nowadays they call it Bounce, a fast and driving Minimal Techno sound that he himself calls Neo Groove. But his new tracks even contain some influences from the hard techno scene.
